Battle of Titans often called Titanomachy was war beteween Titans and Olympian Gods that lasted 10 years.During this battle youngest God Zeus freed Cyclopes and the Hecatoncheires from Tartarus where Cronos endungeond them.In return Cyclopes crafted for Zeus his Tunderbolts,for Hades his Helment and for Poseidon his trident.Mighty weapons that Cyclopes crafted were then used by Olympian Gods to defeat Titans.After the battle Titans were enprisoned in Tatarus (underworld).Atlas was doomed to carry sky on his back and Prometheus was on Olympic gods side so they let him remain with them.Three brothers divided the ruling,Zeus get to rule the heaven,Hades got to rule the Underworld and Poseidon was given Control over the seas.Reference:Ancient History
